This October, your state regent attended the gathering of our National Board of Management at DAR Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
On Oct 11, we celebrated the National Society’s anniversary by laying wreaths at the Founders Memorial. We were then given a presentation in the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit (which now displays the DAR logo following our corporate sponsorship). This is a traveling education bus. Then we were able to assemble a wreath.
NSDAR held a memorial wreath laying at the statue of the father of the US Navy, Rear Admiral John Paul Jones. All of the daughters were dressed in purple for Domestic Abuse Awareness.
