Monday, I attended the Zoom meeting of the National Board of Management. From National headquarters, our President General gave an enlightening report on our situation and upcoming plans. DC has lifted restrictions and 25% of the staff can now work in the building. They will be playing catch-up, so please be patient. Tuesday morning I attended the State Regents Club meeting, as I am the Recording Secretary. Because I received an invitation, I logged on for the California Tea and discovered the Executive Board had prepared a YouTube video introducing themselves just as if we were at a tea. What a clever idea. It was almost like being there. Just before 4pm I logged into the State Vice Regents Club so I could vote for Anna Choi, who was elected President. Congratulations, Anna! The election was slow and there were of course problems with voting by the polling method, so I missed the first ten minutes of the American Heritage Awards. This award webinar presented the national winners with photos of their entries in all the categories and will be posted on the American Heritage Committee page of our members national website. If you missed it, please try to watch it. You might see someone you know. They gave away door prizes at the completion of the program. Congratulations to our Assistant Treasurer Meg Smith who won the lovely suffrage doll.
