Fortunately, I was in town and able to attend Stamp Defiance Chapter’s December Tea at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church. Regent Jo Stroud had again arranged an inviting photo corner and many photos were taken there as well as in front of the decorated tree. Honorary President General Merry Ann Wright, Corresponding Secretary Susan Hines, State Parliamentarian Gwen Causey, District Director Lisa Pomeranz, District Vice Director Judy Caison, and regents and members from nearby chapters were treated to a lively confession from a WWII veteran about borrowing a train! A violinist played while members and guests of all ages indulged in the tea, punch, and an array of seasonal treats.
