On December 11th, in Raleigh, I joined the Samuel Johnston Chapter, Mary Norris Regent, for a presentation on our NC Daughters’ projects. I appreciate my sister, Judy Caison from our sales team accompanying me, with most of the items we have for members to purchase in support of these projects. We were treated to a delicious lunch at the University Club which was attractively decorated for the season and thus provided everyone with Christmas Spirit. The chapter recognized two of their own members, one who turned 100 that day and another 100-year-old member whose birthday is this spring. That must be a record to have two members reach that milestone birthday. It was so nice to see District Director Mary Aker, Vice Director Elaine Cooke, Secretary/Treasurer Mary Saul, and many regents and members from nearby chapters in attendance to become better acquainted with our projects.
